[Woodford Circuit Court convenes at Metamora for three-day term.]

[Lincoln probably visits Hennepin and other towns in Marshall and Putnam County at this time. In letter to Williamson Durley of Hennepin from Springfield October 3, 1845, he says: "When I saw you at home, it was agreed that I should write to you and your brother Madison. . . .
