Lincoln, back home, follows up his letter of July 20, 1857 to B. C. Lundy with advice as to best method of working for election of legislators in Peoria senatorial district. He recommends alphabetical lists of voters in each precinct or township. "Let all be so quiet that the adve[r]sary shall not be notified." Abraham Lincoln to B.
