Logan concludes his argument in Penny v. McHenry et al.. Lincoln wins case when court upholds lower court. Lincoln's two Sangamon & Alton cases come to trial. One case involves liability of stock subscriber to pay his subscription, other question of whether change in route of railroad releases subscriber from his contract.
