acts for plaintiff in <name type='case'>Shropshin v.
McHenry</name>, chancery. Case is delayed by incorrect first name on witness

tried by jury, which finds defendant guilty and assesses damages at $5. Judgment of
Justice of Peace Court is affirmed in <name type='case'>Stockwell
& Co. v. Page</name>. In <name type='case'>Short v.
Caldwell</name>, injunction suit, defendant is ruled to show cause why attachment should
not be issued. Lincoln appears for defendant in the first two cases and for plaintiff in
latter. Lincoln, for defendants, wins <name type='case'>People v. Klein
and Hosey</name>, indicted for adultery and fornication, when prosecution drops

Sangamon County. Lincoln and Campbell appear for defendant. Jury finds defendant guilty
and assesses plaintiff's damages at $275. Court grants new trial. Lincoln appears for
plaintiff in <name type='case'>Waggoner v. Lukins</name>. Lincoln and
Harris are for defendant in <name type='case'>People v. Pond</name>,
indicted for harboring slave. Pond is put under $300 bond to appear at next term.<bibl default='NO'>Record.</bibl>
