President Lincoln writes to Secretary of State William H. Seward regarding a job for journalist Zebina Eastman, of Chicago, Illinois. Lincoln writes, "If a position, with even moderate pay, could be found for him in England, he is just the man to reach the sympathies of the English people, to the extent that he can come in contact with them.
