Lincoln, introduced by Gov. Buckingham, speaks in evening at City Hall. He closes with strong appeal: "Let us not be slandered from our duties, or intimidated from preserving our dignity and our rights by any menace; but let us have faith that Right, Eternal Right makes might, and as we understand our duty, so do it!" He is escorted to his hotel by original "Wide Awake" Club. Percy C.
