Lincoln replies to letter from Gustave Koerner. Summarizing status of litigation affecting Ohio and Mississippi Railroad Co., he adds: "Will you please remember that our Sangamon Circuit Court commences Augt. 10—when I suppose our Quo Warranto case will come up, and when I shall be glad to have the benefit of your legal assistance." He writes to Lyman Porter & Co., Lafayette, Ind., merchants, that he can no longer regularly attend court in Tazewell County. He tells William H.
