Lincoln takes depositions of Ninian W. Edwards and Eliphalet B. Hawley in Oldham & Hemingway suit. Both swear that so far as they know, neither they nor any member of the firm of Rankin & Edwards ever paid Lincoln "any money belonging to said Oldham, Todd & Co. on any account whatever." William H.
