[Lincoln is thinking of his campaign for Congress. In letter to John J. Hardin, Martin S. Morris of Petersburg says: "Mr. Lincoln was here at court and I discover from what he says that he wants to run for Congress. . . . He doesn't know but you will be his competitor. . . .
