On defendant's motion, new trial is granted in Beerup v. Lewis, involving ownership of stud horse named Cherokee, judgment to stand as to other property. Lincoln is for defendant. Lincoln wins Merriman v. Lake, assumpsit, despite defendant's plea and affidavit when jury finds for plaintiff and awards $369.34 damages.Record.
